FLORA LOUISE KNAPPER DIXON, age 99, of Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Franklin Manor in Winchester following an extended illness.  Ms. Dixon was born in Belvidere, Tenn., to the late Fritz Knapper and Lucy Zimmerman Knapper on December 14, 1922.  She was a lifelong member of the Belvidere United Church of Christ.  Ms. Dixon was employed for approximately 30 plus years in the Franklin County Clerk's office and many of those years she was elected and served as the Franklin County Court Clerk. She was an avid Lady Vols fan, U.T. Football fan, and U.T. Baseball fan.  She always loved raising a huge garden and working in her yard.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Carl Dixon.  She is survived by her son, Harry Dixon and wife, Liz of Belvidere, Daughter, Kathy Simmons and husband, Wayne of Decatur, Ala., Grandchildren; Josh Dixon and wife, Brittany of Winchester and Jason Dixon and wife, Jaqui of Nashville, Scott Simmons and wife, Tammie of Toney, Ala., Susan Simmons (Fiance' Josh Adkins) of Hartselle, Ala., Emily Simmons Knight and husband, Matt of Athens, Ala., Heather Braden and Brittany Pierce both of Nashville, 6-Great-Grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 18, 2021, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Chaplin, Jeff Collet, officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held from 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 18, until service time at 1:00.

Interment will follow in the First United Church of Christ Belvidere Cemetery.
