EVA MEL TEAL TAYLOR, age 96, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Rockgate Senior Advantage in Cowan, Tenn.,  She was born in Flintville, Tenn., to the late Ollie Teal and Lela Shirey Taylor on February 26, 1923.  She was employed for many years at Taylor Refrigeration in their family business as their bookkeeper.  She was a member of the Winchester First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed bowling, fishing and working in her irises when she was younger.  She will be remembered as a loving and caring, wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Shaw Taylor.  She is survived by her son, Dennis Taylor of Winchester, grandsons; Tim Taylor and wife, Marta of Estill Springs, Greg Taylor of Murfreesboro, Tenn., great-granddaughters; Megan and husband, Robbie Hasting of Estill Springs, Jordan Taylor of Winchester, and sister-in-law– Margaret Nimon of Sauk Village, Illinois.

Services for Ms. Taylor will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday evening in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Visitation for Ms. Taylor is scheduled for 1:00-3:00 P.M. Wednesday prior to services.  Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
