ELSIE LUCILLE RACKLEY MCCLURE, age 72, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Highpointe Health in Winchester, Tenn. following an extended illness.  She was born on February 20, 1953, to the late George C. & Clara Fuller Rackley of Cowan, Tenn.  Mrs. McClure was a homemaker, believed in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and always told anyone about Jesus and what he has done for her.  She had a heart full of love for all and loved her family and dear friends.  She always helped anyone with whatever they needed.  She will be remembered as a loving and devoted, mother, grandmother, cousin and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jimmy R. McClure, Children: Linda J. Stephens of Winchester, Leon Stephens of Lewisburg, Tenn., Bessie G. Walker of Winchester, and Kathy Scott and husband, Timothy of Decherd, Tenn., 11-grandchildren and soon to be 15-great-grandchildren and step-son, Jimmy R. McClure, Jr. of Smyrna, Tenn.  Her best friend of 40 years, Susie Stephens of Decherd, Tenn., two cousins, Katherine Eslick McClure and J.D. and Debra Eslick of Cowan, Tenn.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 26, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. David McGee, officiating.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 on Thursday.

Interment will follow in the Jackson Cemetery in Cowan.
