EARNEST DAVID NARD, age 67, departed from this life on August 25, 2020, at STRHS Winchester following a brief illness.  Mr. Nard was born on October 12, 1952 to the late Earnest F.S. Nard and Dessie Mae Patton Nard.  He was employed in Maintenance at A.E.D.C. for approximately 35 years before retiring.  Mr. Nard was a wonderful Dad, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend.  He loved "tinkering" on his cars and trucks, and discussing (politics).  He also had a sharp memory.  He could remember things that happened 30 years ago, and what he didn't remember, he would make up.

He leaves to cherish his legacy, sons; Ken Wilkerson and Cynthia of Winchester and David Edward Ray Nard and Olivia, step-daughter, Heather Harris all of Shelbyville, Tenn., granddaughter, Cierra Baker of Nashville, sisters; Kitty Ford and husband Cleve of Cowan, Shirley Kennerly and husband, Lawrence of Decherd, Tenn., brothers; Larry and Barry Nard of Cowan, Tenn., and Ernest D. Robinson, of Chattanooga, Tenn.,

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Friday, Sept. 4, 2020 at Thorogood Cemetery in Cowan with Rev. John Patton, officiating.
