DOROTHY JEAN PHILLIPS, age 91 formerly of Sherwood, passed this life on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Elk River of Winchester. A native of Franklin County, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Lester and Hattie Summers Stubblefield. Dorothy attended the Sherwood Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Phillips; son, Cleve Phillips; sister, Effie Cunningham and brother, Russell Stubblefield.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Carl Phillips and his wife, Donna of Sherwood, Patricia Gayle Pack and her husband, Donald of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Donald Pack and his wife, Jennie of Navarre, FL, Jason Pack of Murfreesboro, Labron Phillips of Cowan and Brooke Phillips of Cowan; sister, Joy Matthews and her husband, Kenneth of Stevenson, AL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 12 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025 with burial to follow at Cumberland Cemetery in Gonce, AL. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the service time.
