DORIS ELAINE TAYLOR TRAIL, age 76, of Manchester, Tenn. departed this life on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Life Care Center in Tullahoma, Tenn., following an extended illness. She was born in Lynchburg, Tenn., on February 25, 1945, to the late, John Alton and Laura Mae Tipps Taylor.  She was employed in the textile manufacturing industry for many years.  She enjoyed gardening and canning and loved planting flowers.  In her spare time she loved sewing and especially making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.  Elaine and her late husband Marion Cleveland Trail were married for 43 years before his death and raised 4 children and helped in raising 3 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Annette Miles, sisters; Sarah Taylor Preston and Rebecca Jean Taylor Price, brothers; James Howard Taylor, Kenneth Tipps Taylor, George Franklin Taylor and Granddaughter, Gina Trail Byers.

Ms. Trail is survived by her children; Ronald Trail and wife, Teresa of Estill Springs, Ricky Trail of Tullahoma and Randall Trail and wife, Deana of Winchester.  Brothers; John Thomas Taylor and wife Hazel of Lynchburg, Bobby Randall Taylor and wife, Tina of Winchester.  Grandchildren; Steven Trail and wife, Amber of Kentucky, Cody Trail of Estill Springs, Amber Skidmore and husband, Josh of Manchester, Shonna Bolin and husband, Tyler of Huntland, Ashley Miles (Ian) of Oliver Springs, Tenn.  Great-grandchildren; Silas and Carter Bolin, Isiah, Adin and Asher Skidmore, Steven Lee, Avery Michelle, Aric Dean, and Adrienne Diane Trail.

Visitation for Ms. Trail is scheduled for Saturday, January 22, from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Services for Ms. Trail will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 23, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Pastor Mark Bolin, officiating.

Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, Tenn., where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Marion.
