DONNA JO KELLEY MAHAFFEY, age 68, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Friday, September 27, 2024, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Mahaffey was born in Winchester, Tenn., on March 7, 1956, to the late Donald Kelley and Margaret Alene Rollins Kelley.  She was a Residential Painter by trade, an occupation that she enjoyed for many years before her retirement.  Mrs. Mahaffey enjoyed reading and planting her flowers, as well as, working in her yard.  She was an avid UT football fan and was looking forward to the UT - Bama game this year.  She dearly loved her children and her grandchildren were "her life" as she was known as "Donja" to them and the neighborhood.  She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and her "strong will" and determination during her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marlene Johns and brothers, Jerry and William Master and Ronnie Kelley.

She is survived by her husband of 50+ years, Edward Mahaffey, Jr. of Winchester, daughters: Angie Robinson and husband, James of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Kayla Swafford and husband Jake of Winchester.  Son, Ed Mahaffey (Chasity Caulk) of Winchester.  Brother, David Kelley of North Carolina. Sisters; Lavernia Shetters, Cynthia Kelley and Lorrie Kelley. Grandchildren; Skylar (Ashton) Reister of Estill Springs, Maleigha Walls and Kaiden Mahaffey of Winchester, several great-grandchildren and 10 Step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday evening in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 30, 2024, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd, Tenn.
