DOLLIE MAE ANDERSON, age 92, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at her residence following an extended illness.  Ms. Anderson was born in Decherd, Tenn., to the late Edgar Anderson and Alma Pharr Anderson on September 12, 1928.  She was of the Baptist Faith.  Ms. Anderson was employed at the former Lanier Clothing in Decherd for several years. She enjoyed fishing when she was younger.  She loved Elvis music and all types of Country Music.  For years she could be found working in her garden and flowers until her health wouldn't allow her to anymore. She will be remembered as a fun loving mother by her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Alton D. Hodges and her brother, Willis Anderson.

She is survived by her children; William Hodges of Decherd, Patty Morris, Winchester, Charles Hodges and wife, Rita of Belvidere, Timmie Hodges and wife, Trisha of Cowan, Junior Palmer of Hixson, Tenn., 18-grandchildren, 47-great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Edward Anderson, and wife, Pat of Decherd, Pleasy Anderson of Hillsboro and Robert Anderson and wife, April of Decherd, sister, Sue Darnell of Woodbury.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Chaplin Jerry Stewart, officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 Noon until service time at 2:00 on Tuesday.

Interment will be in the Payne's Cemetery in Winchester.
