Obituary

DENNIS REED HADLEY, age 74, of Winchester, Tenn., formerly of Monterey, California, departed this life on Saturday, November 12, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Hadley was born on November 13, 1947, to the late Leland Hadley and Mamie Buntin Hadley in Monterey, Calif.  He was employed for 40 years with Pacific Bell as a Telephone lineman where he retired.  He enjoyed working in his yard.  Most of all Mr. Hadley enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren.  He created a camp for them when they were young and they would come and visit their grandparents for one week each summer.  It was located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and had a cabin for them to stay in. It was their own family camp that he built.  He started with the oldest grandchild and went down the line each year, that grandchild got to pick the color and design for the front of their "mascot" T-shirts so when they would go places they could be easily spotted. At the end of the week they would have a talent show for their parents.  It was an experience that they had every year and one they will never forget.  His motto for his family was, "Live everyday one day at a time and enjoy every moment."  He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hadley was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Cheyenne Hadley and brothers; Bob, Paul and Jack Hadley.

He is survived by his wife, Ardonna Hadley of Winchester, sons; Kevin (Kayla) Hadley of Decherd, Tenn., Keith (Julia) Hadley of Tullahoma, Tenn., daughter, Christie Ybarra of Clarkston, Wa.  Grandchildren; Justin Hadley of Alabaster, Ala., Lauren (Bryant) Satterfield of Fayetteville, Brianna Hadley of Murfreesboro, J.T. Hadley of Mt. Dora, Fla. and  Keegan Hadley of Manchester, Tenn.  10 Great-grandchildren, 1-Brother, Jim (Jo) Hadley of Concrete, Wa., 2-nieces.

It was Mr. Hadley's wishes that he be cremated.  A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
