DEBRA LYNN MEDLEY SHORT, age 59, of Huntland, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Short was born on December 7, 1958 in Harvey IL, to the late Fred Medley and Pearlene Shores Medley. She was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Short enjoyed working in her flower bed. She loved to be with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Short is survived by her husband Harold Short of Huntland; sons, Tim Short and his wife, Ashley of Huntland; Thomas Short of Huntland; Jennifer Langford and her husband, Michael of Huntland; grandchildren, Charles Short, Cloe Short, Michael Langford, Jr., Andrew Langford, and one on the way, Logan Langford. sisters. Diane Hopkins and her husband, Mike of Cowan; Susan Stewman of Huntland; Connie Rowland and her husband George of Huntland; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, May 14, from 5;00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Grant Funeral Services. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. John Ben Neal, officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Huntland.
