DAVID MARK WILHOITE , age 63, of Niota, Tenn., formerly of Winchester, Tenn. departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2023, at his residence. He was born on January 16, 1959, in Winchester, Tenn., to the late Thomas Wilhoite and Evelyn Butler Wilhoite Lewis.  He was a member of the Cowan Church of the Nazarene.  Mr. Wilhoite was a 1977 graduate of Franklin County High School.  He enjoyed watching westerns on T.V.  Mr. Wilhoite loved to listen to gospel music and read and study his Bible.  He also memorized many verses of the Bible.  He will be remembered as a polite and compassionate person that loved his Lord.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Maternal grandmother, Pauline Butler Novak, Paternal grandparents; Emmett and Bessie Wilhoite and Uncle, George Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Glenna Thomas Wilhoite, Father-in-law, Rev. Glen Thomas, Brother, Greg Lewis and wife, Meleia, Uncle, John Butler and wife, Sandra, Aunt,  Joyce Parrelli and husband, Pat.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Private Graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 7, at Owens Chapel Cemetery in Winchester with Bro. Bill Welch, officiating.
