DAVID ALLAN KNOER, age 59, of Huntland, Tenn., departed this life peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was such a warrior in his battle with cancer for 4 years.  Now he rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior.

Born August 31, 1965 to the late Lester and Elsie Knoer, in Winchester, Tenn.  He graduated from Huntland High School in 1983, and went to work shortly thereafter at PPG in Huntsville, Ala., where he remained a faithful employee up until the end, for a span of 39 years.  David enjoyed, hunting, fishing and gardening, watching the TN Volunteers, Nascar and a good bourbon.  David loved to cook alongside his wife, always trying new and delicious recipes and he had a talent for plating his special dishes.  David spent most of his spare time with his wife, they were almost inseparable. David will be greatly missed by his family, friends and fur babies (there were several throughout the years).

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two infant siblings, Sheila and Tracie.  David is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Georgia and son, James and granddaughter Jaydin.  Siblings; Brenda Cashion and husband, James of Belvidere and Bobby Knoer and wife, Barbara of Huntland and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Sunday, November 24, at 2:00 P.M. at the Lexie Crossroads Church of Christ with Bro. Carl Brown, officiating. 1008 Farris Creek Bridge Rd., Belvidere, TN  37306.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Church or Charity of your choice.
