DANNY "BUTCH" CHRISTOPHER GREEN, age 54, of Manchester, Tenn., formerly of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville following a brief illness.  He was born in Sewanee, Tenn., to the late Polly and Walter Green on May 22, 1969.  Mr. Green was employed as a residential carpenter all of his working years.  He was a very talented musician and singer.  He could play the guitar, keyboard and drums. Mr. Green enjoyed working on automobiles and could be called a "shade tree mechanic".  He will be remembered for his musical talent and his love for his family and friends as he was always there for them.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Green was preceded in death by his sisters; Brenda Gayle Green, Linda Dale Green, Donna Mae Richards and Marilyn Sue Green.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Wiseman of Winchester, son, John Leach and wife, Ashley of Shelbyville, Tenn., significant other, Angie Bailey of Manchester, brother, Lester Green of Winchester and sisters; Betsy Mazzuola, Norma Lee Green of Cowan, grandchildren, Jaxon Gore and Maysee Leach and his devoted pet, Princess.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 7, 2024, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 P.M. Sunday prior to the service at 2:00.
