DAN S. MORRISON, age 60, of Cowan, Tenn.,  departed this life on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at STRHS Winchester losing his battle with cancer. Mr. Morrison was born in Crossville, Tenn., to the late Hugh Elmer Morrison and Ruthie Jane Moore Morrison on December 25, 1960.  He was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Flintville, Tenn.  Mr. Morrison was employed for many years at the former Cowan Woodworking Shop before becoming disabled.  He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler in the mountain, swimming in the creek and anything outdoors.  He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends.

Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Morrison in June of this year. His sisters; Peggy Floyd and Jenny "Jenn" Floyd, brothers; "Bud" Morrison and Pete Morrison.

He is survived by his sons; Dan Morrison, Jr. of Estill Springs, Wesley Morrison of Sherwood and Christopher Adam Morrison of Indianapolis, Ind. Grandchildren; Kaylie and Kylie Morrison, Brothers; Carlos Morrison of Cowan, Joe Morrison and Sam (Lisa) Morrison all of Fla., Sister, Patsy Melton of Cowan, Tenn.

Services for Mr. Morrison will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 3, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, with Bro. John Ben Neal, officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. Friday until service time at 1:00.

Interment will follow in the Coalmont Cemetery in Coalmont, Tenn., where he will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Teresa.
