WILLIAM CLAYTON SNELL, age 43, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at his residence.  Mr. Snell was born in Murfreesboro on October 1, 1977, to William Alton Snell and Maie Lynn Jackson Snell. He  attended high school at Riverdale High School, Murfreesboro, TN.  Clayton believed in the Lord.  His life work was centered around the movie theater industry, which he adored.  Clayton could build a theater from the ground up and managed several at one time, to perfection.  He loved to travel and experience new and different things.  Clayton made residence in AL, FL, TX and CO throughout his career.  Clayton enjoyed life to the fullest.  He could walk into any room and be the highlight of the event.  His prize possession was his BMW Z-3.

Clayton was preceded in death by his Father, William Alton Snell; maternal Grandmother, Myrtle Naomi Clark Jackson; paternal Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Snell.

Clayton is survived by his Mother, Maie Lynne Jackson Snell (Billy George) of Murfreesboro, TN; Sister, Dollye Anne (Shannon) Layhew of Murfreesboro, TN; Sister, Mende Katherine Snell (Chad Patton) of Shelbyville, TN.  He is also survived by his Aunt, Dubbye Joe (Joe) Elliot of Shelbyville, TN; and his Nephews, Zachary and Jacob Patterson.  Several Cousins and many Friends morn his passing, as well.

A Private Visitation for immediate Family only will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 prior to services.

A Graveside service for Family and friends will be held at Winchester Memorial Park in Winchester, Tenn. on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Joseph Elliott, officiating.
