CHARLES DOUGLAS WEDDINGTON, age 84, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.  Mr. Weddington was born in Winchester, Tenn. to the late William Clay Weddington and Carry Spencer Weddington on October 8, 1932.  Mr. Weddington was a graduate of Tullahoma High School.  He was employed for over twenty years  as a Production Supervisor in the Motion Picture Industry in Hollywood, California by CFI.  Mr. Weddington retired and moved to Tennessee.  He was then employed for several years at CBS in Nashville, Tenn. He enjoyed working with electronics, restoring old T.V.'s.  and watching old movies.

Mr. Weddington is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Charlotte Jane Austell Weddington, Eldest daughter, Beverly Lynn Weddington of Southern California, son, David Clay Weddington, daughter, Carol Beth Weddington Kolb and husband Michael all of Murfreesboro, grandsons; Adam and Austin Kolb, and loving pets; Binkie, Cali and Lily.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 28, 2017,  at Oakwood Cemetery in Tullahoma with John Butler, officiating.
