CHARLES RAYMOND HARPER, JR., age 79, of Estill Springs, Tenn., formerly of Old Hickory, Tenn., departed this life on Friday, February 19, 2021, at his residence following an extended illness.  Mr. Harper was born in Old Hickory, Tenn., to the late Charles Harper and Dorothy Hale Harper on October 29, 1941.  He graduated from DuPont High School in 1959.  He was employed for approximately 10 years at DuPont in Old Hickory, Tenn.  He left their employment and went to work as a pipe fitter for Metro Davidson County where he was employed for 18 years before becoming disabled due to an accident.  He enjoyed boating on the Lake here with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lori Harper, sister, Camille Harper and brother, Gregory Harper.

He is survived by his brother, Eddie H. Harper of Estill Springs and step-children; Freddy Duncan and Maria Duncan both of Hermitage, Tenn.
