CAROLYN JEAN POSEY HICE, age 67, of Lynchburg, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born in Winchester, Tenn. to the late Joseph Ben Posey and Alene Burks Posey on November 15, 1949.  She was a member of the Riva Lake Baptist Church.  She was a waitress most of her working years before becoming disabled.  She was employed at the now closed Chuck Wagon Restaurant and more recently at the Franklin County Country Club.  Her favorite past time was fishing.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Regina Selepena, grandson, Drew Austin, brothers; Kenneth Posey and Doug Posey, sisters; Joanne Hice and Kathy Brewer.  She is survived by her son, Billy  Bohanan and wife, Avasa and granddaughter, Hunter Nicole Bohanan all of Lynchburg, Tenn., grandsons; Dylan and Drake Austin of Tullahoma, sisters; Jeanette Cook of Winchester and Debbie Cornelison and husband, Rubin of Murfreesboro.  Several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ms. Hice will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday evening, August 21, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Gerald Hice, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Huntland with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
