CAROL EVON THOMPSON, age 68 of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at her residence.  Ms. Thompson was born in Winchester, Tenn., on October 22, 1949 to the late Austin and Ruby Williams Sneed. Ms. Thompson was a member of the Oaklawn Baptist Church in Winchester.  She was a retired Nurse. Ms. Thompson enjoyed working and painting with her ceramics. She will be remembered as a loving and caring, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Don Sneed.   She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Wiggins of Jacksonville, Florida, sons; Rocky Wiggins of Estill Springs and Gavin Thompson of Clarksville, Tenn.,  grandchildren; Joseph and Dylan Medley, Nick, Natalie and Stoney Wiggins, great-grandchildren; Andrew Beatrice and Charles Brown.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Services will also be held, Sunday, April 1, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
