BRENDA WALKER BEDWELL, age 70, of Huntland, Tenn. departed this life on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the Willows at Winchester following an extended illness. Mrs. Bedwell was born on September 17, 1946 in Huntland, Tenn., to the late Douglas and Nadine Parker Walker. She was a graduate of Huntland High School and a Huntland Hornet Cheerleader. Mrs. Bedwell was employed for many years as a Library Assistant at Huntland School. She was a member of the Maxwell Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and taking care of and just being with her grandchildren and family. Mrs. Bedwellwould always greet you with a smile and never met a stranger. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wilson Bedwell, daughters; Christy (Tim)Vernon, Chanda (Tony) Stone and Candice Maxwell all of Huntland. Grandsons; Chase Vernon, Blain Maxwell, granddaughter, Haley Maxwell, step-grandchildren; Amanda Brickley and Zach Stone, step-great-grandson, Cooper Goodnight. Brother, Dennis (Cleijo) Walker of Decherd and sister, Debbie (Johnny) Bruce of Winchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation for Mrs. Bedwell will be held at 5:00-8:00 P.M.Saturday evening, January 14 ,in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday,January 15, 2017 in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Donald Schultz, officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester, Tenn.
