BILLY CARSON ROSE, age 64, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, Tenn. following a brief illness.  Mr. Rose was born in Decherd, Tenn., to the late John Dillon Rose and Anna Geneva Gilliam Rose on December 22, 1953.  He was employed for many years as a Machine Operator at Calsonic in Shelbyville before becoming disabled.  Mr. Rose was an avid U.T. football fan.  His hobbies were restoring old cars, and watching old westerns on T.V. His enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.  He will be remembered as a loving and caring, husband, brother, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rose was preceded in death by a daughter, Latisha Danielle Rose, siblings; Diane Smith, Karen Taylor, Dolly Caldwell and Jack Rose.  He is survived by his wife, Marsha Rose of Decherd, daughters; Shaleigh Smith and husband, Eli of Belvidere, Starleigh Rose and Bobby Fraser of Estill Springs, Son, Shyler Rose of Decherd, grandchildren; Paxton Fraser, Addyeson Fraser, Riley Rose, Kamden Smith and Kalija Smith, brothers, Joe Rose and wife Linda of Tullahoma, Steve Rose and wife, Becky, Johnny Rose all of Monteagle, sisters; Cloras Morris and husband, Wayne, of Decherd, Zella Ruth Lynn and husband, George of Hillsboro, Vesta Ann Brady and husband Hershel, of Altamont.

Services for Mr. Rose will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 14, in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Visitation for Mr. Rose is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 on Saturday,

Interment will be in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd.
