BILLY CLINTON "BUDDY" STEPHENS, JR., age 55, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at his residence loosing a brief battle with cancer.  Mr. Stephens was born on December 24, 1964, to Lula Mae Warren Stephens and the late Billy Clinton Stephens, Sr. in Winchester, Tenn.  Mr. Stephens was a Christian and member of the Estill Springs Nazarene Church.  He was employed in Maintenance for the Franklin County Solid Waste Department.  Mr. Stephens was an Avid race car fan.  He also enjoyed fishing and Alabama football.  He loved people and being with his friends and especially his family and grandchildren he loved to spoil.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori Beckett and Husband, Joseph of Shelbyville, Tenn., Son, Martin Wayne Stephens and wife, Shannon of Winchester, 3-Grandchildren; Kahlan Forest, Maddie and MacKenzie Beckett, Mother, Lula Mae Stephens of Decherd, Brother, Randy Stephens and wife, Teresa of Decherd, Sister, Connie Luttrell and Johnny Alexander of Belvidere, Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Visitation for Mr. Stephens will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday evening, Sept. 26, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Services for Mr. Stephens are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, Sept. 27, in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services, with Pastor Matt Hastings, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd.
