BETTY ANN CHITWOOD, age 86, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at The Waters At Winchester, LLC, following a brief illness.  Miss. Chitwood was born in Estill Springs, on October 28, 1931, to the late Marion Leroy Chitwood and Madge Newman Chitwood.  Miss. Chitwood was employed for many years as a secretary at the former Kuhn's Dept. Store on the square in Winchester.  Upon the closing of Kuhn's, she was then employed at the Tullahoma T.G. & Y. store as a secretary where she retired from.  She loved walking horses and would attend the shows when possible.  She also loved all pets, especially dogs and working in her flowers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Newman Chitwood.  She is survived by several cousins and dear friends.

Visitation for Miss. Chitwood is scheduled for 11:00-1:00 P.M. Friday, November 24, 2017, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Services  immediately following visitation at 1:00.  Bro. John Kelley will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Estill Springs Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her family.
