BETTY JOYCE COLLINS BREWER, age 75, departed this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Elk River Health & Rehabilitation in Fayetteville, Tenn., following an extended illness.  Ms. Brewer was born in Huntland, Tenn., on December 16, 1946, to the late Harvey and Mary Montoye Collins.  Ms. Brewer was a member of the Huntland Church of Christ. She was employed for several years as a mail carrier but her last place of employement was with the former Allegheny Shirt Factory in Huntland.  She enjoyed reading and relaxing.  She was an animal lover and had a dog that she loved dearly before her illness. Her favorite hobby was crafting and making flower arrangements.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H.L. Brewer.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Dolly Brannon of Huntland and several cousins.

Services for Ms. Brewer will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, January 28, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Darrell Williams, officiating.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. Friday prior to the service at 5:00.

A private interment will be held at Beech Grove Cemetery in Francisco, Ala., where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, H.L. Brewer.
