AUDREY FAYE SUNS MEAD, age 73, of Cowan, Tenn., departed this life on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at STRHS Winchester, Tenn., losing her battle with cancer.  Ms. Mead was born in Sewanee, Tenn., on March 15, 1951, to the late Bevely Suns and Mary Gipson Suns.  She attended the Abundant Life Church in Winchester.  She was a beautician and was last employed for several years at Hair Fantasy in Tullahoma before her retirement.  She enjoyed reading and shopping.  She loved her family and taking care of them and her dogs.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Johnson.  She is survived by her sons; Tim Mead and wife, Lora, and Brian Mead all of Cowan.  Brother, Phil Suns and wife, Leslie of Crossville, Tenn., Granddaughters, Jaylin Mead and Skylynn Borne,  Grandsons; David Mead, Kainan Mead, Zaine and wife, Katelyn Mead, Great-Granddaughter, Layla Mead, Great-Grandsons; Connor and Porter, nephews; Stevie, Tony and Chris and one niece, Ashley.

A private interment will be held at a later date at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery.
