ANTHONY SWAILES, age 84, of Cowan, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at The Willows at Winchester following an extended illness.  Mr. Swailes was born in Southport, England, on May 21, 1934, to the late Leslie Swailes and Lillian Saline Swailes.  He relocated from England to America in 1979 and was employed at Monterey Mills in Wisconsin.  He then relocated to Monterey Mills in Cowan, Tenn., where he worked until his retirement for approximately 16 years as a Night Shift Manager.  Mr. Swailes enjoyed fishing and woodworking in his free time.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Corbett Swailes, of Cowan, daughter, Kim Bedford, of Bradford, England, son, Lee A. Swailes of Cowan, step-son's, Jason J. Kluge and Tom Tomlinson of Portage, Wisconsin, step-daughter, Tammy Speegle of Wasilla, Alaska.  4-grandchildren and 2-great-grandchildren.

It was Mr. Swaile's wishes were that he be cremated.  There are no services scheduled at this time.
