ANTHONY "TONY" DWAYNE STEPHENS, age 61, of the Keith Springs Community in Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at his residence losing his 7 year battle with cancer.  Mr. Stephens was born in Winchester, Tenn. to Shirley Faye McBee Stephens and the late Fred L. Stephens.  He attended the Decherd Mission Church.  He was employed most of his working years in the residential construction field and was last employed a short time by Doric Grave and Vault Company in Decherd before he became disabled. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.  He could be described as a "simple man" that loved his family especially his granddaughter, she was the "apple of his eye."  He will be remembered as a loving and caring son, father and grandfather.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his aunts; Judy Green and Dora Kitsemble.  He is survived by his mother, Shirley Stephens of Belvidere, son, Blake Stephens and wife, Nicole of Winchester, Tenn., granddaughter, Huntleigh Stephens, sisters; Sandra Springfield and husband John of Summerville, NC, Crystal Thackerson and husband, Frankie of Winchester, uncles; Pete McBee of Sewanee and Rod McBee of Smyrna, Tenn., 8-nieces, 4-nephews, 5-great nieces and 6-great nephews.

Services will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Thursday evening September 11, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Pat Magouirk, officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 P.M. until service time at 6:00 Thursday evening.
