Pam and Glen at the encouragment of their friends, neighbors and business acquaintances felt the need for another funeral business in Franklin County. In April, 2006 they received their establishment license from the State of Tennessee, operating from the Estill Monument Company that they own. They were doing Church Services, Gravesides and Cremations with the assistance of the Estill Springs Nazarene Church opening their doors and hearts to families that needed a place or just a larger place for a service. The Lord opened the doors and their hearts to help us help families. Church services were being done before funeral homes existed. This was not a new tradition or concept but one not practiced as often.
In Sept. 2006, Pam and Glen purchased the property at the corner of 41-A and Peters Road In Estill Springs for the future home of Grant Funeral Services.
Pam and Glen's purpose in opening their funeral business was to offer families a Professional, caring and affordable funeral service for their loved one without them having to worry about the cost of the service and sometimes feeling their only way to do this was Cremation. Pam and Glen strive to keep a low overhead therefore, passing the savings on to the families they serve.
