Wendell Joe James, age 60, of Tullahoma, Tenn. departed this
life on Friday, December 9, 2011, at Life Care Center of Tullahoma
following an extended illness. Mr. James was of the Pentecostal
faith. He was employed for several years as a fork lift
operator for M-Tek before he became disabled. He was an avid
race car fan and a crew chief at the Winchester Speedway at
different times during his life. After he was admitted to
Life Care Center in Tullahoma he was the Vice-president of the
Resident Council, a job he took seriously.
Mr. James is survived by his wife, Paulette of Tullahoma, sons;
Daniel James of Winchester, Jason (Teresa) James of Tullahoma and
Joseph (Jessica) James of Swansboro, NC, sister, Alice Johnson of
Virginia, brother, Gary Wayne James of Shelbyville,
8-grandchildren: Gwyneth, Caleb, Isaac, Ashlee, Yasmine,
Elijah, Joslyn and Harleigh James.
Visitation for Mr. James will be held from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Sat.
evening in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Services are
scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday with Bro. Joe Hill,
officiating. Interment will follow in the New Center Grove
Cemetery.
