Franklin D. Walls, age 66, of Decherd, departed this life on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Southern TN Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Walls was a truck driver for over 40 years, last working for Tinsley Asphalt Company before becoming disabled. Mr. Walls enjoyed hunting and fishing before his illness and other hobbies he enjoyed more recently were playing pool and cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents; John T. and Margie A. Walls. He is survived by his daughters; Melissa F. (David) Walls of Decherd, Bonita (Ricky) Lowe of Hillsboro. Brother, Justin (Deb) Walls of Decherd. Sister, Shirley (Clyde) Burks of Tullahoma. Grandchildren; Austin D. and Dawson P. Smartt. Christoper and Cathy Lowe. Niece, Valerie (Thorpe) Walls. Nephew, Derek (Kelly) Walls all of Decherd.
Services for Mr. Walls are 2:00 P.M. Tuesday Evening in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Troy Finney officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Garner Cemetery.
