Of Estill Springs, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at Southern TN Medical
Center in Winchester, TN following a brief illness. She was born in Lake County,
IN and was a homemaker. She was also an avid reader, Gardner and Chef with
no equal. She was a loving wife to her husband of 62 years and a loving mother
to her four daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fermon and
Frankie Schultz. She is survived by her husband, Dan Mears. Daughters; Dana
Mears and Kim Mears all of Estill Springs. Teri Mears of Huntsville, AL and Mary
Mears of Jersey City, NJ. Sisters; Meredith Kimmerle of Green Castle, TN and
Lou Ella Ray of Santa Barbara, CA. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00
PM Friday evening May 15th in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. The family
requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Franklin County Library.
