ROY G. CRUISE, age 86, of Winchester, TN formerly of Spencer, TN, departed this life on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Southern TN Medical Center in Winchester.  Mr. Cruise retired from the State of Tennessee where was employed for approximately twenty-five years as a heavy machine operator.  He was of the Methodist faith.  Mr. Cruise was an Army veteran serving his country in WWII.  One of Mr. Cruise’s favorite hobbies was square dancing.

Mr. Cruise was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Jane, Son, Manuel Orbit Cruise, Brothers; Bill Cruse, Joe Cruise, Frank Cruise and Robert Cruise.  Sisters; Pearl Eldridge, Louise Cruse, Mae Cruse and Bessie Hodges.  He is survived by his Daughters; Theresa (Kenneth) Cunningham of Decherd and  June King and fiancée Terry Tompkins of McMinnville.  Son, Ray F. (Angie) Cruise of Decherd.  14 Grandchildren and 17-Great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation for Mr. Cruise is scheduled for Thursday Evening from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. Friday.  All services are being held at Spencer Funeral Home in Spencer, TN.  Officiating will be Bro. Freddie Savage with interment following at Town Cemetery in Spencer with Military honors bestowed.
