BEAVERS, Ronald Cecil, age 82, of Decherd, passed away quietly at his home
on Tues. Aug. 25, 2009, following an extended illness. He was retired from
Allis-Chalmers where he worked as a machine operator. Mr. Beavers loved
fishing and raising his goats after retiring. Mr. Beavers was a veteran of WWII
and the Korean War. He is survived by his son, Ronald Robert "Bob" Beavers of Decherd. Sisters;
Ova Lou Walker, Golden Living Center in Winchester, Frances Wakeland of South Carolina and
Peggy Summers of Pikeville, TN. Sister-in-law, Georgie Beavers of Decherd. Several Nieces and
Nephews. Services for Mr. Beavers are 2:00 PM Thursday, Aug. 27, in the Chapel of Grant
Funeral Services with Bro. Mark Bolin officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Garner Cemetery in
Decherd with military honors.
