ROBERT DONALD MINES, age 78, of Tullahoma, Tenn. departed this
life on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012 after a lengthy battle with
cancer. He was born in Franklin County to the late Leo and
Eva Mines. Mr. Mines was a member of the Keith Springs
Baptist Church in Belvidere. Mr. Mines was a self-employed
drywall contractor for over twenty-five years before his
retirement. He loved hunting, fishing, skeet shooting
and gardening.
He was preceded in death by ten siblings. Mr. Mines is
survived by his wife of over 59 years, Lavern Mines of Tullahoma,
son, Wayne (Rose) Mines, grandson, Donnie (Amanda) Mines all of
Tullahoma and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Mines will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M.
Tuesday evening in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
Services for Mr. Mines will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, Jan. 4,
2012 with Bro. Mike Morris and Bro. Johnny Bradford
officiating. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in
Tullahoma.
