Morton Stephens, age 88, of Belvidere, Tenn. departed this life
on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at his residence following an extended
illness. Mr. Stephens was a member of the Keith Springs
Mountain Church of Jesus. He loved to hunt and work with his
mules.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Ross and Martha
Stephens, a daughter, Diane Metcalf, grandson, Curtis Metcalf, and
granddaughter, Stacey Stephens. He is survived by his wife,
of 63 years, Rosedia, sons; Timmy (Patsy) Stephens of Sherwood,
Clifford Stephens, Ricky (Katy) Stephens, Elvis (Mary Nell)
Stephens, daughter, Loretta (Eddie) Williams all of
Belvidere. 19-grandchildren and several
great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Stephens will be from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Tuesday
evening in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Services are
scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Grant Funeral Services with
Bro. Howard Riddle officiating. Interment will follow in
Clark Gardens in Belvidere.
