MORRIS, David Mason, age 50, of Winchester, TN passed away quietly at Golden
Living Center-Mtn. View in Winchester on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 following a
courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Morris was a self-employed grocery store owner
for many years, owning Double D's Market and The SonShine Shop in Winchester.
After selling the SonShine shop he was employed at Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg
until he became unable to work due to his illness. He was a loving and devoted husband,
father and grandfather. He attended the Estill Springs Nazarene Church. He was pre-
ceded in death by his parents; Bobby Morris and Patricia Wheeler Morris. He is sur-
vived by his wife, Karen Morris of Winchester, Sons; Jeffery Morris of Salt Lake City,
Utah and David Deaton Morris of Indiana. 6-Brothers and 4-Sisters. Step-children;
Ashley McLaughlin and Ryan Rhodes. Grandson, Dominic Morris and step-grand-
Children; Karli and Madelynn McLaughlin. Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Services for Mr. Morris are 11:00 AM, Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 in the Chapel of
Grant Funeral Services with Pastor Richard Reed officiating. Interment will be in
Maplewood Cemetery, Tullahoma.
