DICKERSON, Martha Anne (Prince) Pearson, age 85, of Tullahoma, TN passed away quietly at the
home of her granddaughter in Tullahoma on Friday Oct. 9, 2009, following a brief illness. She was
retired from Genesco after 42 years of service. She was known for her great cooking abilities and
loved cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; Rolley Paskel Prince and
Nancy Jane, her husband of 20 years Polk Pearson and second husband James Dickerson. Brother,
Clyde Prince. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Edward (Doris) Pearson of Lynchburg, TN and
Danny Lynn (Roxanne) Pearson of Dallas, TX. 4-Grandchildren; Kenneth Polk (Vicki) Pearson,
Kimberly Anne Pearson Sullenger, Kevin Scott (Michelle) Pearson, Anne Marie Pearson. 4-Step-
Grandchildren; Ashley, Ragan, Gina and Gilliam Vidal. 7-Great-Grandchildren; Joshua, Jacob,
Jace, Jimmy, Dylan and Donavin Pearson and Jacqueline Suzanne Marie Sullenger. Sister-in-
law, Lonetta Prince of Manchester, TN. Nephews, Greg and David Prince and two great-nephews. In
lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Marble Plains Baptist Church in her
memory. The family will be holding private services for Ms. Dickerson at a later date.
