MARILYN JANE MOORE, age 75, of Tullahoma,Tenn., departed this
life on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Centennial Medical
Center in Nashville following an extended illness. Mrs. Moore was a
member of the First Church of Jesus Christ in Tullahoma. She
was employed as a seamstress at Tennessee Apparel for many years
before retiring from Daun Ray. She was a loving and devoted
wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her Church family and
will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Moore of Tullahoma,
daughter, Sherry Nicholson of Wartrace, sons; Jimmy Stewart and
David T. Stewart both of Tullahoma, Daniel S. (Linda) Stewart of
Estill Springs, Phillip L. (Starla) Stewart of Burkley, W.V., Tom
(Lareina) Stewart of Dunlap, Tenn., step-son, Robert Moore, Jr. of
McMinnville, Tenn., step-daughters; Dorothy Moore of Smithville and
Shirleen Clowers of Carthage, Tenn., great-maternal aunt, Wyonna
Burdick of Watseka, IL., 23 grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Moore will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M.
Monday evening in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 20,
2012 with Pastor Carroll Taylor and Sister Sharon Taylor
officiating. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery
in Tullahoma.
