JOYCE HALLSTRAND, age 78, of Estill Springs, Tenn.
departed this life on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the home of her
daughter, following an extended illness. She was born in Medford,
Wisconsin. Mrs. Hallstrand was of the Lutheran faith. She was
a very active homemaker wife, and mother. She volunteered
helping with the 4-H club and wherever she was needed. She
could be called a "multi-tasker" often juggling her work on the
family farm with her sewing, crocheting and cooking and many other
numerous task while she and Mr. Hallstrand were raising nine
children. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and
grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb Hallstrand.
She is survived by her children; Karey (Les) Smetak of Mosinee, WI,
David (Monica) Hallstrand of Prentice, WI, Barbara Dassow and
Fiancee' Norm Obremski, of Mosinee, WI, Gale (Tom) Klingelhoets of
Estill Springs, TN, Tami (Glenn) Villup of Kenosha,WI, Pami (Larry)
Trent of Alberquerque, NM, Kim (Jesse) Heather of Swartz Creek, MI,
Holly (Vern) Hakala and Dann (Jennifer) Hallstrand all of
Prentice, WI. Sister, Jean Schneider of West Bend, WI.
Grandchildren; Scott (Stefanie) Smetak of South Range, WI, Donald
Smetak of Marathon, WI, Emmitt Barnes of Phillips, WI Cyrus
Hallstrand of Prentice, WI, Harley Dassow of McMinnville, TN,
Matthew Klingelhoets of Tullahoma, TN, Michael (Ally) Klingelhoets
of Dickson, TN, Fallon Villup of Kenosha, WI, Benjamin Trent of
Alberquerque, NM, Erwin Heather of McMinnville, TN, Megan and Zoe
Hakala of Prentice, WI, Dokoda Kruegar of Phillips, WI and Samual
Hallstrand of Prentice, WI. great-grandhchildren; Seth and Sabrina
Smetak of South Range, WI, Andrew Smetak of Marathon, WI, Katie and
Sophie Klingelhoets of Tullahoma, TN, Abby Wagoner of Dickson,
TN.
It was Ms. Hallstrand's request that she be cremated.
Private services will be held at a later date.
