John Doyle "O.T." Coleman, age 62, of Shelbyville formerly of Winchester, departed this life

on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness. 

Mr. Coleman was born in Baytown, Texas.  He was a member of the Korean Baptist Church in

Rutherford County.  Mr. Coleman was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge with affiliations in

Estill Springs, lodge #561, Winchester lodge #158 and Shelbyville lodge #122.  Mr. Coleman served

as Worshipful Master of both Winchester lodge #158 in 2000 and also as Worshipful Master of

Shelbyville Benevolent lodge #122 in 2006.  He was a member of the York Rite bodies of Masonry

and the Al Menah Shrine Temple in Nashville.  Mr. Coleman is a life member of the VFW and the

DAV.  Mr. Coleman served for 21 years in the United States Air Force retiring in 1986.  He is also

retired from AEDC ACS, Inc. as of 2002.  Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his parents William

T. Coleman, Sr. and Robbie L. Coleman.  He is survived by his wife, Sun Cha (Han) "Emma"

Coleman. Sons; Sean Coleman of Cedar Park, TX and Shad Coleman of Seagoville, TX.  Daughter,

Aimee' M. Zissa of Plano, TX.  Brother, William T. Coleman, Jr. of Desoto, TX.  Grandchildren; Rubin

John Coleman, Darian Coleman and Dakota Coleman, Kassi Zissa and Jaxon John Coleman.

Services for Mr. Coleman will be at 7:00 PM Thursday evening in the Chapel of Grant Funeral

Services with visitation with the family from 4:00 until Service time at 7:00.  Officiating will be Bro.

Randy Jackson and Pastor Kim Gi Sup.  Full Military Honors will be bestowed followed by Masonic

Services.  In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Autism Society of America by

contacting Grant Funeral Services at 931-649-3585.
