Janell Vickers Herring, age 76, of Hillsboro, TN, departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family, after an extended illness. She was a nurse for almost thirty years. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Herring was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her sons; Ronnie (Joanna) Elliott of Murfreesboro, TN, Larry Elliott of Hillsboro. Daughter, Gwen (Stuart) Schuch of Estill Springs, TN. Brother, Leland (Ann) Vickers of Manchester. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Tim Totty officiating. Visitation with the famiiy will be from 1:00 until service time. Interment will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
