Sorry to hear of Doug`s passing. We played baseball and basketball at Franklin Co. High. Doug was a great guy and a lot of fun to be around. I am sitting hear thinking of some of the funny things that happened during our high school days. We pray God`s grace and love will be with all of you during this time. Jimmy Jacobs

Dear Doug, you will always be our favorite neighbor and friend, no matter how far away we are from you - we love you, Doug. You were always a good friend to both of us. Since we have that blessed assurance that you are in Heaven right now with the Father, and with Jesus, we rejoice in your moving there. It is sad for now, of course, for all of us left behind here who knew and loved you. We will miss your sense of humor! But I can just see you, sitting on the front porch of your new mansion, waving at everyone who passes by, opening your door and your arms to all to come in and chat for a while... We will see you soon, Doug. Thanks for everything you have given to Boots and to me - that open door of friendship. Our hearts go out to your family and friends who will miss you, also. God bless you all, and know that our Doug is with his Saviour.
