Age 65, of Decherd, passed away on Wed., April 29, 2009 at Southern
TN Medical Center in Winchester. She was a homemaker. She was
preceded in death by her husband, John Charles Yates, Parents, Ed and
Opal Baker, Grandson, John Thomas Haddon. She is survived
by her Daughters, Tammy Gann of Decherd, Janice (Phillip) Haddon of
Florida. Shelia Yates of Decherd. Brothers, Larry (Doris) Baker of Decherd
and Eddie (Kay) Baker of Pelham. Grandchildren; Jason (Samantha)
Gann of Estill Springs, Shannon and Ace Haddon of Florida, Timmy Yates and
Tyler Majors of Decherd, Ronnie (Irene) Gann of Winchester. Great-Grand
Children; Jackson Haddon of Florida and Matthew and Michael Gann of Estill
Springs, TN. Services for Ms. Yates were 2:00 PM Friday, in the Chapel of
Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Cecil Mathis officiating. Burial followed
in the Winchester City Cemetery.
