Frank Edgar “Ed” Soloman, age 76, of Winchester departed this life to be with his Lord
on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009. He was born in the Lexie Crossroads Community
in Franklin County, TN. Mr. Soloman was a Supervisor at Arnold Air Force Base for
over 40 years. He was a member and Sunday School Teacher for many years at Riva
Lake Baptist Church and would supply preach at various Baptist churches in Franklin
County when called to do so. He was preceded in death by his parents James and
Bessie Brazier Soloman and daughter, Brenda. He is survived by his loving and devoted
Wife of almost forty-six years, Dorothy “Dottie” Huber Soloman of Winchester. Son,
Darrell (Regan) Soloman of Nashville, TN. Granddaughter, Lexie Soloman and Grandson,
Imre Soloman. Brothers, J.D. (Helen) Soloman of Tullahoma and Fred Soloman of
Winchester. Sister, Bettye (Kent) Gamble of Belvidere. Several Nieces and Nephews
and Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews. Services for Mr. Soloman are scheduled for
10:00 AM Sat. Dec. 5th at Riva Lake Baptist Church where he will lie in state from
9:00 until service time Sat. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 PM Friday Evening in the
Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Officiating will be Bro. Larry Sanders. Interment will
be in the Winchester City Cemetery.
