Age 57, of Estill Springs, passed away quietly at his residence on Fri. June 26, 2009. He received an Associate in Science Degree from the Maple Woods Community College in Kansas City, MO, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Quantum Mechanics from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, a Bachelor of Divinity from the Christian Congregation Universalists. Doctor of Osteopathy from the Kansas City College of Osteopathy Medicine in 1978. He was employed in MO as an ER Physician from 1978-79 and from 1979-1984 in Troy, MO. He was then in General Practice from 1984-1992. He then worked in various cities in TN as an ER Physician from 1992-1998. He also opened his practice in TN in pain management in Tullahoma and McMinnville from 1993-1999 and in Manchester from 2000-2005 also, opening a practice in Decherd from 2004-2005. Dr. Brown was also a 32nd Degree Mason. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Kris Puchta-Brown of Estill Springs, Daughter, Sarah Watts of Tullahoma, Sons - Aaron (Carey) Brown of Estill Springs and Wayne (Beth) Brown of Berger, MO. Grandchildren; Brayden, Connor, Griffin, Isaiah, and Owen Brown. Services for Dr. Brown are scheduled for 7:00 PM Tues. evening, June 30th Visitation with the family is from 5:00-7:00 in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
