CAGLE, Betty Frances, age 80, of Lake Placid, Florida, formerly of Decherd, passed away
at the Lake Placid Hospital Thursday, September 3, 2009. She was born in Lincoln County
to the late John Lewis Johnson and Mary Ovia Bennett Johnson. She was a member
of the Free Spirit Baptist Church in Estill Springs. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant
for many years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cagle
and sons, James Milton and Jimmy Dwight Cagle.She is survived by her daughters;
Mary Cole of Lake Placid, FL, and Elizabeth (Ray) Bryant of Flintville, TN. Brother,
Fred Johnson of Alabama. Several Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren and Great-Great-
granchildren. A special grand-daughter-in-law, Lillie Cagle of Lakeland, FL. Services
for Mrs. Cagle are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 in the Chapel of Grant
Funeral Services with Bro. Dan Syler, officiating. Interment will be beside her late husband,
James in the Gum Springs Cemetery in Flintville, TN.
