Hilltop Animal Clinic

BECKER, Helen Celeste Riens, age 61, of Lynchburg, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Sept. 

23, 2009 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma following a brief illness.  She was born

in Jacksonville, Florida.  Mrs. Becker was employed most of her life as a Dental Technician. She

was the first woman president of the Florida Dental Lab Association. She leaves to cherish her

memory her husband, Dr. H. Neil Becker of Lynchburg, Daughter, Monica (Josh) Becker Duvall of

Lebanon, TN.  Sons;  Garet (Lisa) Becker of North Webster, IN, and Cory (Gina) Becker of Mayfield,

KY.  Her mother, Edna Riens of Blairsville, GA.  7-Grandchildren and 1-Great-granddaugher.  

Sisters; Pat (Bill) Braun of Blairsville, GA, Denise (Gary) Jarmon of Jacksonville, FL, Brothers; Glen

and Fred Riens of  Florida.  Several Nieces and Nephews.  Special Family of Hilltop Animal Clinic;

Dena Metcalf, Stacy Tavlin, Kelly Perry, Mandi Mashe, Katie Wells. Special friend and neighbors,

of the Williamson Hollow Road, Sara Hensley, Linda and Gil Ramsden.  Mrs. Helen's Three "furry

four legged friends."  A Community Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 2:00-6:00 PM, Sat.

October 3rd  at the Hilltop Animal Clinic in Lynchburg. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations

to be made to the Moore County Animal Control Fund by contacting The Moore County Bank or

Hilltop Animal Clinic.  Dr. Becker and family would also like to thank Mrs. Helen's Doctor's and the

staff of Harton Regional Meeical Center ane the community of Lynchburg for their acts of kindness

shown to them during her illness and at her passing.
