Ann Thornton Sistrunk Lorne, age 79, of Winchester, departed
this life on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her residence. Ms. Lorne
was retired from Brooksfield Regional Medical Center in
Brooksfield, Fla. where she was employed as a central supply
technician.
Ms. Lorne was preceded in death by her husband, of 43 years,
Eric Olof Lorne, Sr., her parents; Mr. and Mrs. Eldrige Wasington
Sistrunk, III (Myrtle), daughters; Judith Margit Lorne and
Elizabeth Jo Lorne Hill. She is survived by her daughters;
Ann Thornton Alexander (James Russell) of Inverness Fla., Victoria
Lorne Ferrell (Louis Frank Mloch) of Winchester, Tenn., son, Eric
Olof (Yana) Lorne, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.,
grandchildren; Ami Marie Adler, James Eric (Sarah Ryan) Ferrell,
Julia Ann Petrucci, Jason Barton Mloch, Justin White Hill, Latisha
Olmeda Jackson, Alexander Eric Lorne, Irene Rudakov,
great-grandchildren, Nicholas M. Adler, Alexander West, Sloane Ryan
Ferrell, Sage Blackbull, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and
friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on June 16, 2012
at the Episcopal Church of St. Bede, 2500 16th Street
North, St. Petersburg, Fla. with the Rev. John Riggle
officiating. Interment will be in the Weaver Cemetery in East
Brewton, Ala.
