Adrian Michael DeMatteo, known by everyone as "A", 46, of Estill Springs, Tenn, formerly of Hixson, Tenn. passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at his residence.  "A" was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. on September 29, 1964; he graduated Hixson High School in 1983 and earned a B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1990.  His last position was Vice President of Decherd Apparel in Decherd, Tenn. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adrian and Johnnye Huggins of Cotton Plant, Arkansas and Tony and Mary DeMatteo of Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Lucretia DeMatteo of Estill Springs, Tenn; three brothers and their wives; Mario and Lynne DeMatteo, Damien and Shirley DeMatteo; Cos and Ashley DeMatteo along with several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.  Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday Evening in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services. 

In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations in Adrians Memory to:  Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2021 Decherd Blvd., Decherd, TN  37323-3829.
